Favorite thing about Psi Chi: Meeting all the other awesome psych department majors and minors!! Also, getting the chance to learn about grad school and career options in the field of psychology. Piece of Advice for Bruins: It's OK to not have it all figured out right now! Just make sure you are exploring classes and a wide range of opportunities to help you figure out what you enjoy the most. |

Minor: Gender Studies Favorite Class: Psych 100A - Psychological Statistics Favorite thing about Psi Chi: Being able to attend many different types of workshops from grad school to professional development all in the same place. I also love meeting people with similar interests and career goals! Piece of Advice for Bruins: My advise to younger Bruins would be to learn early that everybody has different strengths, even in the same subject, and comparing yourself to others can become time consuming and it is rarely beneficial. You'll find your place and your strengths, enjoy the route there. |

Minor: Labor Studies Favorite Class: Psych 110 - Fundamentals of Learning Favorite thing about Psi Chi: Psi Chi has given me the opportunity to meet new people with similar career interests as me. I also really enjoy the workshops that they have offered in the past because they have been very informative! Piece of Advice for Bruins: Make use of your time at UCLA because time passes by quickly! Join different clubs and organizations, take a variety of classes, see what you like! Also, don't be too hard on yourself and remember to prioritize your mental health. |

Minor: Spanish Favorite Class: Psych 137C - Intimate Relationships Favorite thing about Psi Chi: Psi Chi provides many resources for its members to succeed during school and after. It's also very comforting to meet other people who share our goals and understand our struggles. We support each other! Piece of Advice for Bruins: A lot of people think that you should already know what you're going to do for the rest of your life by the time you're in college, but really, this is the time you'll learn more about yourself and the world. Whatever you had planned, may change, and that's okay! Don't be afraid to grow out of your dreams and find new ones! |
